Act Against AIDS Coordinator Portal
The Act Against AIDS Healthy Communities Program seeks to create awareness of HIV/AIDS in the Latino community and provide resources in order to create free testing opportunities. Through this program, LULAC engages partners across the country and Puerto Rico to highlight the importance of HIV testing and reduce stigma by creating the opportunity for awareness through important conversations.
The Act Against AIDS Healthy Communities Program is a part of LULAC's work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Partnering and Communicating Together to Act Against AIDS (PACT), a partnership among 15 organizations nationwide. Through PACT, LULAC looks to empower communities across the country to work together in creating awareness, opportunities, and initiatives that seek lower rates of HIV/AIDS in the Latino community.
