Please note luncheon is limited to invited and registered guests.
On Thursday, July 14, the Unity Luncheon with Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton will take place from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Washington Hilton located at 1919 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. The luncheon will take place in the International Ballroom which can be accessed by passing through security on the terrace level. Follow signs for the International Terrace.
Security Logistics for Members and Guests:
- On Thursday, July 14, registration (located on the concourse level) will open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM to pick up already purchased tickets. However, you will not be able to purchase a ticket at registration.
- All guests and members must be in line for security screenings by 9:30 AM
- In order to get through security in a timely manner, do not bring large bags, liquids, food, umbrellas, i-pads, large cameras or large electronics of any kind. None of these items will be permitted into the ballroom and will be left behind in the International Terrace. LULAC is not responsible for any materials left behind.
- Cell phones are allowed but they must be turned on
- You must have a meal ticket in hand to get through security

- General Media Parking: Parking available in designated public areas
- Satellite Truck Parking: Limited space available along Columbia Road NW with parking permits.
- Satellite Truck Access Time: 5:30 AM - 6:00 AM
- Cable In: 6:00 AM - 6:30 AM. Live trucks must be ready to cable in at 6:00 AM. There will not be another opportunity to run cable into the building
- Media Pre-set Time: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
- USSS Sweeps: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- Media Access Time: 9:15 AM - 11:00 AM. There will be an EOD K-9 team on site to sweep large and heavy media equipment for entry into the venue during this time
- Cable Run: 950 feet
- Throw: 75 feet
- Media Check-in: Terrace Foyer via the T Street Entrance
- ID: Media should bring a state-issued ID and their media employee credentials
- Workspace: Chairs, power, and mult boxes will be available
- Wi-Fi: Directed on site
