EHAT STEM Portal
Today, technological skills and knowledge are necessary to compete in academic settings, job markets, and in activities that call for an ever-increasing reliance on technology. LULAC and General Motors Foundation firmly believe that by empowering Hispanic Americans with the technological skills they require we can close the education and economic gaps which are all too prevalent in our communities. STEM related student services are key to closing these gaps as they help improve high school STEM achievement among Hispanic youth. STEM education will provide Hispanic youth with a higher chance of excelling in the workforce as a professional.
