TECHNOLOchicas LiFT
LULAC, in partnership with the Televisa Foundation and the Eva Longoria Foundation, believe that by empowering Latina students with technological skills and encouraging their interest in math and science during the critical middle school years, we can begin to close the educational and economic gaps that are all too prevalent in our communities.
With the generous support from Intel, our coalition provides computer science and coding skills, promotes Latina technology professionals as role models for young girls, and increases students’ confidence and interest in STEM fields through the highly-effective and culturally-relevant STEM education program, TECHNOLOchicas Lift (TC Lift).
