Tom Roberts

Tom Roberts, was elected President of the Ohio Conference of the NAACP, in September of 2017. In 2016, elected Second Vice-President, and appointed the Political Action Chairman for Dayton Unit of the NAACP.

Tom Roberts an employee of Sinclair Community for 19 years, advisor to the Sinclair Ohio Fellows Student Leadership Development program. The program helps students understand the concept of Servant Leadership.

Tom Roberts is a dedicated public servant as demonstrated by his service in both the Ohio House and Ohio Senate where he represented the people of the Miami Valley for over 20 years.

In 2015, Tom Roberts completed a 6 year Governor appointment on the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, as a Commissioner.

In 2015, Governor Kasich appointed Tom Roberts to the Ohio Collaborative Community-Police Advisory Board ( Ex Officio Member).

Tom Roberts was born in Montgomery County, where he resided ever since. A graduated from Chaminade High School, continued his education at Sinclair Community College and later graduated from the University of Dayton where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts
