Alicia Pagan
LULAC Ohio State Director
Elba “Alicia” Pagan is an Ohio Spanish Teacher with over 20 years in Education. She serves as the State Director for LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) Ohio. She has served on numerous local and state boards on diversity and education. Additionally, she is Co-Founder of Ga-li Arts Education program and has worked with numerous colleges developing artistic and cultural programs for students and faculty. She has presented workshops nationally for universities, colleges, and K-12 schools and community-based organizations, on cultural diversity and community building at student orientations and faculty training. As a singer and storyteller, she incorporates music, art, storytelling, and poetry to discuss and engage participants in learning about each Other to better understand and celebrate the strength of our diversity. Mother of two and grandmother of four Alicia is originally from Lares, Puerto Rico.
