Washington, D.C. – Today, LULAC National announced that it will continue to engage and educate the Latino community on critical issues like college-and-career readiness, access to financial aid, and the new Common Core State Standards. Through targeted community information sessions, LULAC intends to bring parents, students, and members of the community information regarding the need to get students prepared for college as states implement new standards.
