Action Alert: Tell Congress to Ban Neurotoxic Pesticides! Ban Chlorpyrifos!

July 25, 2017

Washington, DC – Chlorpyrifos is a neurotoxic pesticide that contaminates our water, poisons our food, and endangers the lives our agricultural workers (and their families) in the fields.

According to studies, exposing children to chlorpyrifos results in reduced IQ, loss of working memory and attention deficit disorders. Workers poisoned by chlorpyrifos experience vomiting, muscle cramps and twitching, tremors and weakness.

The current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) refuses to ban chlorpyrifos - so Congress must take action and ban this neurotoxic pesticide once and for all!
