Description

The Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) Grant Program provides funding for state, local, tribal, and territorial governments, nonprofits, and institutions of higher education with funds to establish or enhance capabilities to prevent targeted violence and terrorism. The TVTP Grant Program provides assistance to implement that goal and develops innovative solutions to prevent terrorism and targeted violence.

• Notice of Funding Opportunity (grant funding announcement) in Mid-March 2022 DHS anticipates receiving $20 million from Congress for this opportunity.
• The awards will vary in amount based on the type(s) of projects that applicants include in their proposals; the average award in FY21 was approximately $540,000.
