Event Details

Description

On November 19, 2020, the National Council on Aging, Latinos for a Secure Retirement and LULAC will host a community cafecito (coffee chat) on the Different Faces of Caregivers: Prioritizing Mental Health & Balancing Responsibilities. This digital convening will host experts, share information on mental health, social isolation, and share resources that prioritize self-care, mental health, and even personal finances. We will integrate cultural elements of caregiving and the "obligation" young adults feel when caring for loved ones.

Directions

Register for this cafecito, join the conversation and receive resources on providing care. We will discuss how responsibility affects every facet of a caregiver's life and can cause financial strain on families.

This partnership coalesced by NCOA brings resources to families that may apply for money-saving benefits through the NCOA BenefitsCheckupTool© to live with dignity, purpose, and security.
