Duneland LULAC COUNCIL 5016 Hosts Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Indiana Duneland LULAC Council #5016 will host its 2016 Scholarship Luncheon on Sunday August 14, 2016. The luncheon will be held at the beautiful Sand Creek Country Club located at 1001 Sand Creek Dr., Chesterton, Indiana. The event will run from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. Speakers include Ms. Jessica Vargas, Project Architect, Holladay Properties, Portage, IN and Ms. Emily Langston from Crown Point, IN; Ms. Langston is a LULAC Council #5009 scholarship recipient. She attends Purdue University, West Lafayette and is majoring in Pre-med. A Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle will also be held with all proceeds going to its scholarship program. The Ballett Folklorico Fiesta Mexicana will perform. Duneland LULAC Council #5016 will present scholarship awards to 11 outstanding local Hispanic students. This event is open to the public.
