Biography

Roman Palomares is a prominent leader within the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), where he served as Chief of Staff and Chair of Military and Veteran Affairs and is a distinguished National Housing Consultant. Known for his unwavering dedication, service, and pursuit of excellence, Roman's unique insights stem from his experiences as a Vietnam Era veteran and a retired Federal Executive. His contributions to LULAC empower its members to harness their leadership potential.

Growing up as the fifth of nine children in a low-income neighborhood on the south side of San Antonio, Roman learned the value of dedication early in life. His commitment to hard work and determination to rise above poverty and mediocrity led him to earn a Washington Fellowship and later a Master's in Public Administration, paving the way for a successful career as a Federal Executive. Roman's career, marked by numerous awards and leadership roles, exemplifies his mission of excellence and his belief that excellence is a journey rather than a destination.

After dedicating forty years to three Federal Government agencies, Roman founded his management consulting firm, providing technical assistance to local government entities across the United States. In this role, he teaches, develops, inspires, and mentors hundreds of local government and housing board members, all tasked with overseeing local agencies nationwide. This same dedication and passion drive his work with LULAC Officers, helping them empower their teams to achieve greater success.

Roman's commitment extends beyond his professional endeavors. He actively participates on the boards of several foundations and national military support organizations, demonstrating his profound dedication to military veterans. His academic achievements include an Associate Degree from San Antonio Junior College, a Bachelor's Degree from Our Lady of the Lake University (Worden School of Social Work), and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, Washington DC campus.

Roman Palomares exemplifies a lifetime of service, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of excellence through his extensive career and community involvement.
