Nathan Singer Weisbrod serves as a Policy & Legislation Fellow at LULAC's Headquarters in Washington, DC. He is a rising senior at Wesleyan University triple majoring in Latin American Studies, Government, and American Studies. As an intern for Corporación de Promoción y Defensa de los Derechos del Pueblo (CODEPU) in Santiago, Chile, he drafted a reparations proposal for victims of police brutality during 2019 protests. CODEPU plans to present this proposal to the United Nations. Nathan also served as an intern at Integrated Immigrant and Refugee Services in New Haven, Connecticut and the Latin American Youth Center in his hometown of Washington, DC. As a tour guide coordinator for Wesleyan University, Nathan helped bring the first Spanish-language tours to prospective families. During his free time, Nathan works as a professional drummer. He is honored to be working with LULAC.
