Isabelle Verduzco serves as a Policy and Legislation Fellow at the League of United Latin American Citizens. She is currently attending the University of California, Los Angeles as a double major in Political Science and English. Growing up in a Mexican household encouraged her to look deeper into the issues facing minorities, especially Latin American citizens on topics such as immigration and human rights. Career-wise, she hopes to become an immigration or personal injury lawyer. As a result, most of her work experiences are in the political sphere, with her being an Editor for the UCLA Undergraduate Law Journal, a member of the UCLA Debate Union, a Social Justice writer for Davis Vanguard and a UCLA Law Fellow among other things. Beyond her interest in politics, Isabelle enjoys spending her free time walking out in nature, creating digital artwork, reading, and writing short novels.
