Rosalinda Son-Alvarado serves as a Research and Policy fellow at LULAC’s national headquarters in Washington D.C. She is extremely grateful and excited to gain more knowledge and experience on legal policies as well as help contribute in being the voice for individuals that are unsure of how to use their voices. She is a daughter of Guatemalan immigrants and was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She is in her third year at California State University, Northridge, where she is currently majoring in Political Science and minoring in Public Relations. She was awarded with an Italian scholarship from the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literature at CSUN. Upon returning back to her hometown, she hopes to continue learning and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree, then continuing her education by attending law school and learning more about the legal system and ways she can help her community. Her ultimate career goal is to become a Diplomat, while also becoming a local activist for the latino community. When she is not working, you can always find her listening to music or catching up with friends and family.
