Paulina Evelyn Perez Serves as a Policy and Legislation intern at LULAC’s National Office in Washington DC. Miss Perez is Mexican American born and raised in Riverside County, Perris, California. She is a rising Senior at the University of California, Irvine studying Philosophy with a minor in Political Science. She is a member of the Phi Alpha Delta, Pre Law Fraternity, the first law fraternity ever to admit women in 1970. During her time at UCI she spent a year mentoring incoming freshmen, most of whom came from minority communities, assisting them in the university transition. As a mentor, she provided academic guidance, career navigation and helped to foster a sense of belonging and success for underrepresented students. Additionally, Miss Perez has honed her research skills through participating in scholarly and personal research projects.
