History

Gettysburg College

Liam H. Nelson is a senior at Gettysburg College, studying History with a minor in Educational Studies. Originally from Ramsey, New Jersey, he is pursuing a career in civil rights and education policy. His academic background centers on United States and British Imperial history, as well as current public policy challenges in K-12 and higher education. His senior thesis was an analysis of the consequential figures in the diplomatic relationship between the Middle Colonies and the Iroquois Confederacy between 1739 and 1768. Outside of academic and professional pursuits, he spends his time playing guitar and cheering on the New York Yankees.
