Carly Luna Arreola serves as a Research and Policy Fellow at LULAC’s National Office in Washington, D.C. in early 2026. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she is an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania studying Criminology and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, with a focus on public policy and governance. She has held several leadership roles supporting Penn’s Latinx community, including Chair of Programming for the Latinx Coalition, Community Outreach Chair for MEChA de Penn, and Alumni Engagement Officer for Unidos Pre-Law Association. Her interest in law is grounded in hands-on experience, including internships with Future Standard’s legal department and the law firm Swift Currie. Outside the classroom, she volunteers at her home church and with Books Through Bars, helping provide educational materials to incarcerated individuals nationwide. Her work is shaped by a clear interest in how the criminal justice system, economic policy, and government accountability intersect.
