Marina Caraballo

Marina Caraballo (she/her/ella) serves as a Research and Policy Fellow at the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). She was born and raised in Florida where her love for politics, immigration and culture grew. Now, Marina is an undergraduate student at American University studying International Studies. On campus, Marina is involved in various Latino-affiliated student organizations, like American University’s LULAC club and she is also a writer for El Águila (a student-run Spanish news publication). Professionally, Marina feels fortunate enough to have had various internship opportunities, working at the offices of the U.S. Representative John H. Rutherford (FL-05), former U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (FL), and The National Immigration Forum. She also volunteers in the greater D.C. area at the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) and Hola Cultura. In the future, Marina hopes to attend law school and continue pursuing her passions to help uplift the latino community.
