Public Policy

Stanford University

Laura Bravo-Perez is serving as a Research and Policy Fellow at LULAC’s National Office in Washington, D.C. in the fall of 2025. Originally from Lake Tahoe, California, she is completing her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy at Stanford University with a concentration in Education Policy. Education has been the throughline of her work—on campus, she has contributed to Barrio Assistance by tutoring local Latino students and has immersed herself in coursework in the Department of Education to sharpen her expertise. Now in her final year as an undergraduate, Laura is eager to translate her academic training into professional experience, with the goal of advancing policies that expand educational opportunity and equity for Latino communities nationwide.
