James Horgan

James Horgan serves as a Policy and Legislation Fellow at the League of United Latin American Citizens. During his spring residence at the University of California Washington Center, he works in LULAC's national office, representing the University of California San Diego. He is a graduating senior earning a bachelor's degree in political science, focusing on public law. He has a background in conservation, having volunteered in affiliation with the Oakland Zoo in Madagascar and Guatemala, supporting Stoneybrook University's Center Val Bio and la Asociación de Rescate y Conservación de Vida Silvestre (ARCAS)'s Peten Project in their respective countries. James is also a member of the National Political Science Honors Society. He started studying and working in the political science space after spending more than five years at Apple in IT support.
