Nicole Flanders

Nicole Flanders serves as a Policy & Legislative Fellow at LULAC's Headquarters in Washington, DC. She feels very fortunate to have the wonderful opportunity to work with LULAC toward their shared mission of advancing economic prosperity, educational opportunities, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Latino population of the United States. Nicole is a third year, political science major at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She recently returned from studying abroad in Paris, France, where she attended Sciences Po to continue her studies in political science. Nicole has interned for various Congressional District Offices in the past, namely for the Honorable Congressmen Josh Harder (CA 9) and Salud Carbajal (CA 24). She is very excited about the opportunity to apply her knowledge of political science to her work at this fellowship! She is passionate about addressing democratic decline, extremism, and polarization, as well as immigration reform.
