Enya López García is interning as a Research and Policy Fellow this fall. She was born in Tijuana and grew up in San Diego often traveling back and forth and maintaining a close connection to her culture. Enya is a fourth year transfer student at the University of California, Los Angeles and is studying Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. In the past, she has taken Russian language courses and hopes to complete a Russian Studies minor before leaving UCLA. Her incorporation to LULAC marks the beginning of my professional career, which she is excited for. After graduating in the summer of 2025, she plans on taking a gap year to study for and take the LSAT, and then apply to law school. In her free time, Enya enjoys cooking all kinds of food for her friends and family. She also tends to draw, read, and play the piano when possible.
