Cristian Simms serves as a Research and Policy Fellow with the League of United Latin American Citizens at its national office in Washington, D.C. in early 2026. Originally from New Jersey, he is completing his undergraduate studies at Howard University, majoring in Economics with double minors in Political Science and Business. Through his undergraduate work at Howard, he has been an active campus leader advocating for minority youth development and civil rights in the Washington, D.C. area and beyond. He brings experience working on global healthcare equity through his work with Pfizer and Sanofi. At LULAC, his work focuses on state and federal regulatory policy related to medications and healthcare access for key populations, as well as developing virtual learning modules on financial literacy for underserved communities.
