Chisom Maureen Udeh

Political Science

University of California, Riverside

Chisom Udeh is a Mass Media and Communications Fellow at the League of United Latin American Citizens's (LULAC's) National Office in Washington, DC. Chisom was drawn to LULAC by their mission of advocacy, a field she has been passionate about since her freshman year of high school. She previously interned at a small law firm that introduced her to different areas of law and advocacy and plans to expand her knowledge through her time at LULAC. Chisom is a third-year student at the University of California, Riverside and is studying Political Science with a growing interest in media. LULAC provides Chisom with the opportunity to combine her interests and sharpen her skills in media and advocacy.

Back at her home campus, UCR, Chisom is involved with the community at her campus through organizations such as the Nigerian Student Association (NSA), an organization that allows her to express and share her culture with others on campus and the National Black Law Student Association (NBLSA), an organization that allows her to connect with other black Pre-Law/Political Science majors and provide reliable resources for them. After university, Chisom plans to attend law school and study entertainment law.
