Alondra Lopez-Sanchez serves as a Research and Policy Fellow at LULAC’s National Office in Washington, D.C. in early 2026. She is originally from Tahoe-Truckee, California, and is completing her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, majoring in Criminology, Law, and Society. A first-generation college student, she is focused on immigration, civil rights, and public policy. At LULAC, her work has centered on state and federal regulations and tracking key legislation related to immigrant protection, civil rights rollbacks, and employment protections. She is a member of Phi Lambda Rho, a Chicana and Latina sorority dedicated to advancing women of color through higher education, and plans to work with system-impacted populations as she pursues a career at the intersection of law and public policy.
