Alejandro Diaz

Alejandro Diaz serves as a Research and Policy Fellow at LULAC's National Office in Washington, DC. He is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Public Affairs. Originally from Riverside, California, he was born into a family of Mexican heritage. His background has given him a deep understanding of race and ethnicity's intersection with politics. While at UCLA, Alejandro has served as a community representative for the On-Campus Housing Council. Additionally, Alejandro is a Public Policy and International Affairs program (PPIA) fellow and plans on pursuing a degree in Public Policy after completing his undergraduate education. He is passionate about addressing income inequality, immigration, education, incarceration policies, environmental justice, and labor rights. He aims to one day hold public office and drive progressive change.
