Lizette Jenness Olmos is now in the running to be chosen by the public as Líder of the Year and $25,000 for LULAC.

Washington, DC – MillerCoors has chosen Lizette Jenness Olmos, National Communications Director, of the League of United Latin American Citizens, to participate in this year’s Líderes campaign honoring leaders in the Hispanic community. Lizette is among 12 Hispanic Líderes from across the country to be selected as the national Líder of the year.

-- One leader out of the twelve will be selected as the Líder of the Year through a public online vote at www.MillerCoorsLideres.com. The voting will be held through November 20, 2009.

-- The winner will receive a $25,000 grant for a community leadership project with their non-profit organization and MillerCoors.

Lizette has been chosen as part of Líderes because of her passion and involvement in the Hispanic community working on major issues including health care, immigration, education, hate crimes and discrimination.
