Today, LULAC National President Roger C. Rocha, Jr. issued the following statement in response to reports that indicate an increase in the number of unaccompanied minors once again crossing the U.S.–Mexico border.

Today, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case of Fisher v. University of Texas at Austin, regarding a constitutional challenge to the university’s admissions policy. LULAC filed an amicus brief in this case supporting the institution’s approach to identifying the best and most diverse students.
