The Federal Training Institute Partnership was formed in hopes to assist the Federal Government in addressing the current situation created by the government –wide spending cuts known as the sequester. It is a Public Non-Profit Partnership with Federal Agencies & the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). We understand the sequester has caused many Federal agencies to suspend all training, educational and public outreach programs. However, we believe that the Federal government workforce needs to represent the population it serves. Therefore, it is critical that we continue addressing the Hispanic under-representation and the challenges that many Federal agencies may have in retaining and developing Hispanics within their agencies.

The FTIP is a collaborative effort and will provide an intensive and structured career-development program for government employees. The FTIP will offer plenary sessions, workshops and executive coaching designed to enable government employees to enhance their leadership skills and develop the Executive Core Qualifications required for leadership positions and entry to the Senior Executive Service. The training will be offered to Federal employees free of charge.

FTIP Attendees will be required to secure authorization from their agency, register electronically at the designated registration site and provide the information requested on the registration form. Attendees will also be required to attend all workshops, sign in to each workshop and will receive a certificate of completion via E-mail for each workshop attended to meet the reporting requirements of 5CFR 410. Partner agencies may also receive a listing of agency participants upon request
