Alejandra Castro

Alejandra Castro is a Consultant at Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm advising Fortune 500 companies on strategy, marketing, organization, operations, IT, and M&A. At Bain, she has worked on a variety of projects in 10+ industries.

Outside of her day-to-day consulting work, she is passionate about giving back to her Latino community. She has worked on initiatives to improve mentorship for underrepresented groups and has served on the Latinos at Bain Leaders Committee. Sponsored by Bain, she worked as a short-term consultant for Taptap Send, a startup providing migrants with a no-fee alternative to transfer money to their families internationally. During her time at Taptap Send, she launched new products in Colombia and Morocco and developed their Latin American go-to-market strategy.

Alejandra grew up in Houston, TX and is of Mexican and Colombian heritage. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst College with a B.A. in Economics and French. This fall, she will pursue an MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as a Joseph Wharton Fellow.
