The Latino vote in 2024 will play a major role in deciding who the next president of the United States will be. With both parties vying for Latino voters, this election year promises to be particularly interesting in battleground states like Nevada. Latino Nevadans represent 28.3% of the state's population and make up 20% of the electorate. Shifts among Latino voters in Nevada could decisively influence the presidential election in November.

In this context, the Presidential Debate on Thursday, June 27, will be crucial as it coincides with the National Convention of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). Founded in 1929, LULAC is the nation’s largest and oldest Latino civil rights organization, dedicated to engaging and empowering Latino communities. With nearly 535 local councils and around 140,000 members across the United States and Puerto Rico, LULAC is expecting thousands to attend this convention.

The Presidential Debate Watch Party at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas promises to be a major draw. Free and open to the public, this event will run from 6 PM to 9 PM, attracting many convention attendees and members of the general public. It will offer a real-time glimpse into the issues concerning Latinos throughout the U.S., with a particular focus on Nevada.
