Host
Erik Rivera
Erik Rivera is one of the premier Latinx multi-hyphenates as an actor-writer-director-producer-comedian. Best known for his stand-up comedy specials, which includes HBO Max’s Super White, Erik launched his career in the stand-up circuit before making a splash with an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Since then, Erik has been a tour de force on the stand-up comedy scene with his first 1 hour special I'm No Expert and landed roles on a number of shows including CBS’ Superior Donuts and Oxygen’s Living with Funny. In 2019, Erik founded the only all Latinx Comedy Stand-up show with Brown-ish, which he hosted monthly at The Laugh Factory on Sunset and now has a new home at The Upstairs Comedy Club in downtown Los Angeles.

Gaby Moreno
Since moving to Los Angeles from her native Guatemala, singer-songwriter-producer Gaby Moreno has released eight albums and earned 4 GRAMMY nominations. She is also a 5 time nominee and winner of a Latin GRAMMY for “Best New Artist” (2013).
Outside of her large critical acclaim and extensive accolades in TV and film, Gaby has proven to be a groundbreaking artist whose impact has extended beyond just music. Through her various projects, Gaby has opened doors for other marginalized voices and transformed the landscape overall. Simultaneously, Gaby has harnessed the power of her art to fight for those often overlooked such as immigrants globally. She was recently named the first UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador from Guatemala and works closely with various organizations that support those on the margins.

Mariachi Arcoiris
Mariachi Arco•Iris de Los Angeles, or The Los Angeles Rainbow Mariachi (in English), is the world's first LGBTQ+ mariachi. A unique and dynamic ensemble representing the traditions of the rich culture of Mexico, this group was created as a haven for mariachi musicians who identify as LGBTQ+ to come together and perform traditional Mexican regional music in an otherwise “machista” and discriminating subculture of the mariachi world.

The theme of the LULAC National Convention in 2025, “Empowering the Next Generation,” reflects our centuries-long commitment to civil rights and empowerment. Rooted in our history of fighting injustice and pioneering change, this theme reflects our commitment to educating the leaders of tomorrow. As we come together every year to advocate for progress, we recognize the importance of mentorship and inspiration in fostering future leaders. From advocating for fair labor conditions to establishing educational initiatives, LULAC has always sought to support Hispanic communities.
