Maria Sadiku

Maria Sadiku is a Manager- Human Resources Business Partner, at Cox Automotive and is currently supporting multiple locations in New Jersey and Louisiana with responsibilities to influence leaders from a business perspective and drive an empowered people culture.  Maria has a passion for inclusion and diversity as she actively participates in employee resource groups to increase awareness of diverse networks focusing on creating an engaging and inclusive environment for internal talent.

She was born in Honduras, Central America and at the age of seven moved with her family to New Jersey.  The sights, sounds, and smells were all new and exciting for her and her family as they were all ready to embark on this new journey and call New Jersey their home. Learning a new language and culture strengthened her ability to adapt and change in an ever-evolving climate. Education was highly encouraged and always thought of as a core foundation for opportunities.  This foundation led Maria to achieve her MBA and apply a robust business sense to her career in Human Resources.  Supporting a diversified portfolio of industries such as Education, Health Care, Venue Management, and currently Automotive has led to a clear understanding of the importance to invest in your talent for the growth and continuity of the business.

Bringing a strong business sense and core values she was selected to be a part of the Cox Automotive Inclusion Leadership Council and will assist in executing strategic priorities and objectives to promote an inclusive work environment.  Maria and her spouse understand diversity firsthand as they have blended their Honduran and Kosovan heritage, culture, and language and teach their children the beauty of not only being different but thinking different. Her desire to see her two young daughters grow up in an environment that promotes inclusion and equality is the fuel that drives her passion.
