Pablo Blank

Pablo Blank has more than 20 years of successful management career on nonprofits, corporations and public agencies. Since 2013 Pablo serves as CASA’s Director of Immigrant Integration overseeing the AmeriCorps program providing Citizenship, Financial Education, and free tax preparation services. Since his tenure, Pablo was instrumental for CASA to extend its AmeriCorps programming to Virginia and Pennsylvania, and soon Georgia. During these years, CASA has helped over 5,000 legal permanent residents become U.S. Citizens and helped 4,000 newly eligible immigrants get the non-compliance driver’s license in Maryland. Additionally, CASA helps prepare over 1,500 tax returns every year.

Pablo also represents CASA at many national coalitions on the topics of his scope of work. Pablo has testified to the Maryland General Assembly many times, on different bills pursuing more immigrant inclusion.

As a volunteer, Pablo was appointed twice to serve as a member of the Montgomery County’s Committee Against Hate/Violence (MD) Pablo served for 8 years in the Board of Conservation Montgomery (local environmental organization), and hold positions with PTAs and the Board of the Adventure Theatre.

Mr. Blank has also worked for Coca Cola (marketing), a railway company (Strategic Planning), the Embassy of Argentina in the US (Cultural and International Cooperation Office) and Identity (Youth Development.) Pablo taught “Argentine Political Economics” (applied macroeconomics), at the University of Cordoba, in Argentina. Mr. Blank has worked on topics of the role of the Diaspora on home countries, and received the “Argentine Social Ambassador Award” by the Help Argentina Foundation in 2009, for fundraising campaigns to support NGOs in Argentina.

Pablo holds a BA in Business Administration and a MA in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. Mr. Blank will graduate in May from the Executive Master’s in Leadership in Georgetown University. He also holds certificates in nonprofit management, project management, development of civic society organizations and courses on Social Psychology and Social Determinants of Mental Health. Mr. Blank is bilingual Spanish/English and lives in Rockville, MD with his wife and daughter.
