Corey Anthony

Corey Anthony has been AT&T’s Chief Diversity Officer since May 2017. He is responsible for leveraging AT&T’s diversity and inclusion strategy, programs and partnerships to drive innovation and growth. He also oversees the company’s learning and development efforts, including leadership development programs, talent identification, and all learning under the AT&T University brand.

Corey is a results-oriented executive with a track record of success. As Chief Diversity Officer, he led AT&T to earn DiversityInc’s top spot in Diversity in 2019. In 2020, AT&T was further recognized among DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity Hall of Fame and for three consecutive years, received recognition on the prestigious Bloomberg Gender-Equity Index.

Prior to his current role, Corey led the Emerging Services and Operations Transformation organization to success in the company’s global transformation to IP voice, security and cloud services. In addition, he oversaw operations, planning and support for Technology Operations' field and center functions.

Corey is a thought leader skilled with the ability to simplify and improve experiences for business customers, consumers and employees. He maintains a strong commitment to the people with whom he works. A proven leader, he consistently builds high-performing, agile, engaged organizations and teams.

Corey was born and raised in Jewett, Texas. He joined Southwestern Bell in 1995 as a manager in the Special Services Center in Wichita, Kan. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles across AT&T – in its Wireless, Marketing, Finance, Network Operations, Human Resources, and Global Customer Service organizations. These wide-ranging experiences have placed Corey at the forefront of the company’s evolution from a regional telephone company to a global leader in entertainment, business, mobile and high- speed internet services.

Corey gives back to his community by serving on the boards of directors for Junior Achievement and Dallas CASA. He is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion. Corey co-founded a chapter of AT&T’s African-American employee group, The NETwork – and today serves on the boards of two other employee groups: InspirASIAN and OASiS.

Corey earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in finance and accounting from Texas A&M. He and his wife, Priscilla, live in Dallas with their children, Monte and Ryley.
