Corina Alegria
Interim Texas Deputy Director for Young Adults
Corina is a recent graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where she received her bachelor's degree and served as Council President to one of the largest LULAC collegiate councils in the state. Alongside her 75 council members, Corina promoted campus wide initiatives with organizations such as the All of Us Research Program, the Ford Driving Dreams Program, and the CDC. For her dedication to service and leadership Corina was awarded the 2019 Texas & National Young Adult Woman of the Year Award. Corina continues her passion for service through the Houston Independent School District where she serves as a resource specialist, connecting low income and at risk families to resources in their communities. Corina has recently been appointed as the Deputy State for Young Adults.
