Dr. Ray Serrano is currently serving as the Director of Research & Policy at the League of United Latin American Citizens.
Throughout his professional journey, he has held diverse roles, including serving as a technical officer at the World Health Organization, working as an analyst at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and serving as a health systems consultant. Additionally, he has contributed to HIV-related initiatives with the United Nations Development Program.
Dr. Serrano's academic background, including his Ph.D. in Health Services Research and Health Policy, his Masters in Public Health from Yale University, and his Bachelor's degree from Stanford University, underscores his expertise in healthcare policy. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping healthcare policies, analyzing healthcare systems, and enhancing service delivery, especially for underrepresented communities. In his role at LULAC, Dr. Serrano will continue to leverage his experience to advocate for the Latino community and advance healthcare initiatives.
