Ms. Hong Miller assumed the role of Army Futures Command (AFC) Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) in December 2022, tasked with supporting the Commanding General, AFC in synchronizing, developing, and overseeing all personnel-related plans, policies, and programs affecting AFC employees worldwide. Her portfolio encompasses the full spectrum of the human capital life-cycle, spanning performance management, strategic workforce planning, leader development, and talent acquisition. With over 34 years of Federal service within the Department of Defense, Ms. Miller's career includes pivotal roles such as Director of the Civilian Human Resources Agency, Deputy Director of the Civilian Human Resources Agency, and Director of Employment & Compensation Line of Business. She holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from St. Mary's University. Ms. Miller's dedication and expertise have garnered her numerous awards and honors, including the Department of the Army Distinguished Civilian Service Medal and the Secretary of Defense Exceptional Civilian Service Award.
