Danitza James

Danitza James is a dedicated member of the LULAC National Military and Veterans Legislative Affairs Subcommittee. Born and raised in Sonora, Mexico, Danitza immigrated to the U.S. in 1996. She joined the Army in 2001 and courageously served in two 12-month combat deployments to Iraq in 2003 and 2005 before leaving the military in 2006. Today, she continues her service on the LULAC National Military and Veterans Legislative Affairs Subcommittee alongside Crystal Romero. Danitza holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Military Policy & Programs.
