Dr. Lyle J. Hogue

Dr. Lyle J. Hogue stepped into the role of Director of Army Strategic Outreach and Partnerships on November 1, 2023. Prior to this position, Dr. Hogue served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Equity and Inclusion). In his new capacity, Dr. Hogue collaborates with Army organizations to synchronize and integrate outreach and partnership efforts, focusing on strategic outreach, talent acquisition, career development, workforce employment, and military and civilian retention. With over 35 years of Army experience, Dr. Hogue's career spans various key roles, including recruiting assignments and leadership positions at different Army divisions and installations. Transitioning to civilian service, he excelled as a Senior Managing Consultant at IBM before returning to the Army Headquarters, where he significantly contributed to workforce transformation and modernization efforts. Dr. Hogue's academic achievements include a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University, a Master of Arts in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Western Illinois University. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Hogue has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Legion of Merit and the Meritorious Service Medal, for his outstanding contributions to the Department of Defense.
