Yocelyn Riojas
Design Manager for NextGen America
Yocelyn Riojas is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist and designer born in Mexico and raised across the border in Eagle Pass, TX. Her work reflects the rich culture of the Latinx community. She is passionate about empowering women and raising awareness of issues surrounding immigration. Yocelyn earned her Master of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Texas State University in 2021, with a focus on social impact. Currently, Yocelyn serves as the Design Manager for NextGen America, the largest youth voting organization in the country. Through innovative digital and field strategies, the organization mobilizes young voters in critical states. Yocelyn now resides in Truth or Consequences, NM, and continues to be a strong advocate for her community. She uses her artistic skills to amplify political messages that support people of color, and she is gaining momentum in her efforts to create a voice for marginalized groups.
