Artist in Residence for the states of Texas, Colorado, taught Humanities and Culture at the University of Utah at Salt Lake City, Humanist in Residence at UTSA in the Department of Economics, San Antonio, that commissioned an original play from him, for an International conference on Economics, as did the Federal Agency, EPA, Environmental Protection Agency, using an original tailored Stage Play Drama, warning migrant field workers of the dangers of Pesticides. He created a Tragicomedy where people howled with tears and laughter at the reality they have survived. Washington was very pleased with it, telling him that only a migrant worker could have written it.
