Bren Herrera

Bren Herrera is an award-winning celebrity chef, TV host, entrepreneur, author and philanthropist. Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Washington, D.C. she fell in love with cooking at a young age as her mom introduced her to the art of pressure cooking. After leaving a lofty career in law, Herrera turned to cooking as her way to celebrate her Afro-Cuban roots but also to entertain and educate through dynamic experiences and impactful cultural narratives.

Herrera has appeared as a regular guest on the Today Show, the Hallmark Channel and others and published her first coookbook, ‘Modern Pressure Cooking’. Bren’s determination and strong sense of belonging finally garnered her her own network TV show. ‘Culture Kitchen with Bren Herrera’, on CLEO TV made Bren the first Afro-Latina (and immigrant) to host her own TV show.

When not on TV or working with national brands, Bren spends her time raising awareness and funds for various organizations, including Adventure Amputee Camp, and her own charity programming benefiting disenfranchised communities in Washington, D.C.

What is the relationship between Section 230 and the First Amendment?
