About Us

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is the largest and oldest Hispanic/Latino organization in the United States, with over 264,000 members across ~500 councils in 208 cities throughout 33 states and U.S. territories. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of Latinos through community-based programs that engage and serve all Latino nationality groups.

LULAC has historically focused on education, civil rights, health, and employment. Through its National Educational Service Centers (LNESC), LULAC provides scholarships and educational programming impacting over 18,000 Latino students annually. Its employment arm, SER Jobs for Progress, delivers job skills and literacy training through 48 centers nationwide.
