Support LULAC on Giving Tuesday

December 1, 2015

Dear friend of LULAC,

Throughout the year, LULAC provides needed services and programs to the Latino community. We should take time during this holiday season to reflect on what we have done and give thought to what more we could do in the coming year.

According to the Pew Research Center, 54 million Latinos currently reside in the U.S. Of them, less than 63% are high school graduates, 28.6% lack health insurance, and 24.6% live in poverty.

These statistics reflect the importance of continuing our work on behalf of the Latino community. LULAC works hard to help change Latino lives and build Latino communities through a family of grassroots volunteers and dedicated staff, but we cannot do it alone. Today, we launch our #GivingTuesday campaign, and ask you to contribute to help support our work in education, health, civic participation, economic empowerment, and technology.

#GivingTuesday is a day where businesses, families, students and communities from around the world are called upon to celebrate caring by donating to a worthwhile cause.

Please consider supporting LULAC on this special day of giving.

Join us in making a difference.
