Last July, five catastrophic, EF-3, tornadoes touched ground in Marshalltown, Iowa, leaving devastation and destruction to more than 27,000 people living in this area. With the coldest artic outbreaks ever experienced in the Midwest, families are facing the extreme weather with no basic amenities, such as windows and comforters, to keep them warm.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by some of the worst tornadoes to ever hit Marshalltown. Tornadoes of this magnitude have affected more than 8,000 Hispanics and LULAC members in Marshalltown.

We ask LULAC members and friends to band together to help all of those affected by these tornadoes and extreme weather. The funds raised will go directly to LULAC Council #374 to provide financial support for weather proof, window replacement, flannel bedding, and comforters. While times are challenging, we know that together, with your help, we can create an impact and help families stay together and safe.

Contributions to the LULAC Relief Fund are tax deductible.
