By Train | Trinity Railway Express (TRE)
Get to the Stockyards from downtown Dallas using TRE. Get off at Fort Worth Central Station and board Trinity Metro's Orange Line northbound to the Stockyards. See TRE westbound timetables here. Purchase a Trinity Metro local day pass ($4 if traveling within Tarrant County) or regional day pass ($12 if traveling from Dallas County) and the transfer between rail and bus is included.
By Train | Trinity Metro TEXRail
Trinity Metro TEXRail's North Side Station is located at 2829 Decatur Ave., right off of NE 28th Street. A short bus ride on Trinity Metro's Orange Line bus will get you to the N. Main Street & Exchange Ave. bus stop at the Stockyards or to be closer to Billy Bob’s Texas, get off at the stop at N. Main Street & 26th Street. If TEXRail passengers have purchased a $4 local day pass, that will cover the cost of bus fare.
