Paola Ramos

Paola Ramos serves as a Mass Media and Communications Fellow at LULAC's National Office in Washington, D.C., during the summer of 2026. A graduate of Wellesley College's Class of 2025, she earned a degree in Media Arts and Sciences, an interdisciplinary field that combines computer science, design, and digital storytelling.

Having grown up in Santa Ana, California, Paola witnessed how public narratives can shape perceptions of communities and influence policy decisions. Those experiences sparked her commitment to digital advocacy, civic engagement, and storytelling that centers the voices and experiences of Latino communities.

Prior to joining LULAC, Paola served as a Video Research Intern at the Center for American Progress, where she collaborated on Felt the Nation, a political satire project designed to engage younger audiences in public affairs and civic life. Her work focused on using creative media to make complex political issues more accessible and engaging.

At LULAC, Paola hopes to build on the organization's long legacy of civil rights advocacy by using media production, digital communications, and storytelling to amplify Latino voices, strengthen civic participation, and advance social justice. She is particularly interested in the role emerging media can play in shaping public understanding and expanding democratic engagement.
