Anellize Morales

Public Policy; Minors in Political Science and Global Studies

University of Delaware

Anellize Morales is a Research and Policy Fellow at LULAC's National Office in Washington, D.C., during the summer of 2026. Having grown up in Rockville, Maryland, she is completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Delaware, where she majors in Public Policy with double minors in Political Science and Global Studies.

Anellize gained experience in public service through internships at the local, state, and federal levels. She served as a District Office Intern for Congresswoman Sarah McBride, assisting constituents, conducting policy research, and supporting district operations. She also interned for Natali Fani-González, where she researched public safety and alcohol policy issues, and served as an Election Official Intern for the State of Delaware.

In addition to her government experience, Anellize has conducted independent research examining the impact of sanctions imposed following Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine on global supply chains in the energy and manufacturing sectors.

Through her work at LULAC, Anellize hopes to deepen her understanding of public policy and advocacy while advancing opportunities for underrepresented communities. Following graduation, she plans to attend law school and pursue a career in international affairs, public policy, or policy-related legal work.
